  • Kearney Public Schools has well over 800,000 square feet of space and 120 acres of land within the district.
  • There are 236,000 square feet of space at Kearney High.
  • 55 people work in the Buildings and Grounds Department.
  • The Whittier Learning Resource Center is the oldest building in the district, being built in 1920.
  • Central Elementary, built in 1927 is the oldest school in the district.
  • Sunrise Middle School, our newest building, was built in 1996.
